If you live in the Amsterdam area, we recommend that you come to the start on the Dam Square by bike. If you come from the area of Amsterdam-Noord, Zaandam or Waterland, take the IJpleinveer or Buiksloterwegveer to Amsterdam center. After the crossing you have to take the bicycle tunnel under the Central Station and follow the arrows via the Singel to the start on the Dam. The routes have also been outlined for this. Keep in mind that it can be crowded on the ferries.
